"No health benefits and paid just $6.70 an hour is not fair"

An underpaid janitor at University of Miami was rewarded for her efforts of standing up for her rights and organizing with her fellow mistreated coworkers, made up of mostly immigrants from Cuba and Haiti. The wealthy university was embarrassed for acquiring such a bad reputation of underpaying workers now provides medical benefits and appropriate living wage.

They protested unfair labor and tried to unionize through a check card process.
